Spring Equinox Gathering
The Spring Equinox marks equal day and night, bringing balance to life we will practice some accessible balancing yoga poses and gentle grounding poses. Releasing any stagnant winter energy, focusing on anything you may want to let go of and looking ahead. Sowing seeds, setting intentions and practising gratitude. We will break for a buffet of nutritious vegetarian food and herbal teas. Let yourself gently unfurl, with some slow and soft movement on your mat, suitable for all levels, complete beginners are welcome. The class will open with some Pranayama (breathwork) followed by gentle flow yoga including balance and grounding. After our evening meal, we will settle down on our mats to practice gratitude and set our intentions, sowing seeds for the season ahead. We will finish with a couple of gentle Yin stretches, easing our bodies into stillness where I will begin to guide you through a mindful meditation, connecting with all of the senses in your body.
